Boggies Flashy Jac has been ranked as a leading sire of
reining horses since 1995. In 2000 he was an NRHA Top Ten
producer. His sire Hollywood Jac 86 was the NRHA World
Champion Non-pro horse in 1974 and 1975. He is an NRHA
Silver Certificate winner and an AQHA Superior Award winner.
He also won 12 NRHA Bronze trophies in his career. Hollywood
Jac 86 went on to become a premier reining horse sire. He had
earned in excess of $1,000,000.00.
His dam Boggies Last was a great show mare as well, in 1979
she was NRHA World Champion Amateur Horse. She was bred
to Hollywood Jac 86 seven times, producing an impressive
group of NRHA show horses including, Boggies Jac, and Mr
Boggie Jac placed 3rd in the NRHA Futurity and won the NRHA
Non-Pro Derby and Superstakes in 1994.
Through breeding lines Boggies Flashy Jac acquired many
foundation genes of the King horse. The breeding lines has
made possible for Boggies to have the same percentage of
genes that a grandson of King would have. His sire Hollywood
Jac 86 was a grandson of King and accounts for 12.5% of the
King genes in Boggies genetic make-up. Boggies dam is also in
the breeding of King and accounts for the additional 12.5% of
King genes.
It's no surprise to us that Boggies has been able to pass to his
babies the train and athletic ability that the King line has
become famous for. Boggies offspring have earned over
half-million dollars and over 500 AQHA points including 16
Performance ROM. 123 of 197 offspring are money earners.
